Repentance Cell

This imprisonment area is meant for the highest of offending criminals that are judged directly by Central Forty Six. They are placed in the cell with an overview of Soukyoku Hill so they may view the possibility of their execution and repent for their crimes.

Haley Kumasa- Squad Five Third Seat, Crime of Dereliction of Duty

List will be updated as people are sentenced or arrested and placed into custody. Each cell is individualized but prisoners may converse with one another without physical interaction.

Kenta smiled over looking the hill he seated himself in a high window several feet off the ground despite him have low spirit energy his natural muscle would always remain, a gentle breeze brushed passed his leg which dangled from his window the fall inside his tower cell and outside was certain death. He would lift his shackled hands up to his face and frown sighing , he would pull his legs into his body as he saw the sun set exposing his legs and arms which were littered in bruises and small cuts,Aperrantly some shinigami he had ratted out before for child trafficking were in here as guards , and they had taken revenge on him , beaten him , cut him , humiliate him.he would wimper a little at the feeling of being alone.

As the sun set he would watch in admiration how beautiful the shadows and light intertwined among soul society , Kenta would look at his cuffs once more , "if darknessmoted it won't be so bad then I can move freely without worry although Haley would most likely have more stress without a captain shell be forced to run the division like she did before" he stated sighing. Kenta would then jump off the Window slamming his feet into the wall bouncing from one side to the other till he was back on his cell floor.

"Man you'd think they would fix these cuffs to stop physical strength to" he would state sitting on the ground stairing at the door with his smile in place erriely , his crimson eyes gleaming in the darkness he woukd stay in this meditative position awaiting some form of interaction

Haley Sat in her prison cell in medication her trial was nothing more than an annoyance to her , central 46 really couldn't do much to herself being such a low ranking officer the worst she could get was probation which she has had before, central 46 was well acquainted with her roudy actions she had been given probation seventy eight different times but they never got to her. She cared nothing for rank or even her own existence ,the courts would never control her and the hands of death were something she didn't fear. "I think I'll be resigning soon if I don't have the freedom to train as I see fit" she said sitting back stairing up into the windows of her cell. Darkness is such a beautiful thing most fear it but what they fail to understand is that the greatest lights are born in the thickest darkness she thought as she gazed at the stars and the moon,her ears would perk up upon the sounds of whimpering, Haley would role her eyes, "SHUT UP! GOD WE HAVE MINOR OFFENCES THEY AREN'T GONNA ECACUTE YOU! NOW STOP BEING SPINELESS!" those words echoed to whoever was crying. As the days proceeded Haley would actually be scratching pictures onto the walls with red and green chalk righting distasteful words all over the walls , she was the reason other cells looked so ugly dirty and messy she needed a pass time :p.

Haley Sat in her cell as the sun peared in threw the Window , Haley was bored she would survey her wrists where the cuffs once and look at the door of her cell, she was many things a girl,an officer, the third seat of the 5th division, and the crimson devil of rukongai. She loved that name although soul society had no record of it due to it having been before she was put in her current rank , she didn't even go to the academy. "Well it's about time I get some fresh air" she stated walking over to her cell door she would clasp her hands together and throw a powerful double hammer fist punch on the metal door a resounding clang would pop off in her cell as the door hit the floor.

Despite not having spirit energy Haley had enormous strenth which these people seem to forget all the time! Haley would casualy walk over her door. She would look around , 'well atleast they know to keep the guards to themselves' Haley would walk for a good distance around the compound enjoying the fresh air she had even snuck around and retrieved her zanpakto. She would sit on a bench and relax she had no intention of leaving the prison but she wasn't staying in that stuffy cell. She would sit on a bench her dark green hair fluttering in the wind as she opened her senses letting her body become accustom to the spiritual pressure around her, 3rd seat Kumasa would would frown as two guards walked bye

"Hey you guys aren't gonna stop me like you usually do?!" She called after them staying put on her bench seat, "nope! Besides it's safer to let you wander, you go back in your cell at night anyway!" One called back, Haley would Huff well no fights for her she would spend a portion of the day in meditation in her cell with her zanpakto the guards took away her door no need to waste money on a knew one. Due to her low offence this was the best security they could afford due to her extremely almost child like disposal of these things they just didn't employ them on her.after a long while of boredom she would walk over to kentas cell and punch the door down like the childish 'brute she was, she had gotten his zanpakto "we can't leave but I'll be damned if we don't train" she stated throwing his zanpakto at him.

Kenta covered his face with his arm as dust and debris flew at his face trying to invade his lungs. He would cough closing his eyes the sunlight was near blinding he had grown accustomed to the darkness of his cell and the rancid oders left behind by past prisoners,the fresh air was a blessing from the soul King himself.Kenta would squint as his eyes adjusted "captain is that-" no it wasn't his captain but instead the third seat of the fifth division Haley Kumasa at this point he didn't know weather to fear this girl or to appreciate her existence, but the questioned still arose in the very depths of the vice captains soul how did she do it, how did she escape.

'her spiritual power is still that of a third seat and the sekiseki of her cell should've detained her spirit energy unless she's just that physically strong' he thought as he stood. He would be in mild shock as he witnessed her toss his zanpakto at him he would quickly grab it and cradle , he would smile as fixed his zanpakto back to its rightful place on his hip. He would then look the young lady over so small and frail looking but in reality "your a real monster aren't you" he lightly laughed out thinking aloud, he would walk past her and then put on his iconic smile, "c'mon lets walk and talk Haley I'm interested in you I'd like to learn more of you and it's better than just sitting around" he stated waiting for his comrad, hopefully he'd find out how she was fully dressed and got both zanpakto's without being caught.

Kenta's hair would blow in the wind a joyous feeling for him, although something in him stirred as a smell wafted upon his nose a bitter smell a foul smell one only found in battle this smell was "death and decay, can you smell it a shinigami just died in the prison facily lets investigate shalle we this may be what we need" he said gesturing her to follow

Darkness ruled deeper in the facility shadows cast in all directions a lone hollow had gotten in, "ffff.....fooooo......foooooood!!!!" A loud screach yell would echo through the hall as this hollow lunged at a isolated female soul reaper without her zanpakto an easy meal for him that only helped him grow in strength, "kill,eat grow,kill eat ,grow!!" It's words echoed throughout the lower levels of the prison as it carved a path of blood and death.

Haley would stay put in her place for the first time in years she felt something stir deep within the dark bowels of her soul a feeling greater than rage itself this feeling was 'Emptiness' the feeling she had forgotten in the comfort of her sqaud over hundreds of years, she was silent as Kenta spoke her soul was in disarray, as her mind began wander, wander to the flashes of her past.

'a monster......how long has it been since those words abused my ears?how long has it been?in the rukongai district it was kill or be killed am I wrong for moving with the way of the world!?the weak die the strong rise up and reach glory' Haley's fist was clenched so hard her knuckles paled as they cracked and bled as she dug her nails into her flesh the pain was nothing to her she wanted to punch some sense into her superior officer , Haley would draw her breath upon hearing about the hollow and begin darting off toward the command center. Her soul burned for battle but she knew she had to follow things by the books this time to avoid more trouble.

"We can talk while we run !" She stated coldly keeping her pace.

Kenta quickly darted after her he relished the feeling of his spirit coursing threw his muscles once more and his zanpakto at his side, his brow would raise as the intercom buzzed to life "ALL AVAILABLE SOUL REAPERS PLZ COME TO THE PRISON DETAINMENT CENTER A HOLLOW HAS GOTTEN INSIDE!! I REPEAT HELP"

Kenta kept his smile as he ran along side Haley , "I think it best we slay the hollow first agreed?" He would look up as a loud boom resounded through the area as the hollow bursted out of the solid stone several feet above them its mouth watering as it layer eyes on the two, "food!!" It howeld as it lunged forward slamming down on the platform, Kenta would laugh "oooh he's a big one!"

Tenkai arrived on scene at the Senzaikyu, it large white majesty never failing to color him amazed. It was strange how they had managed to find so much of such a rare material and construct a tower out of it. To this day it still baffled him, that and the fact the wall around the Seireitei was constructed of the same material, while it was down here at least. By the will of the King he guessed, though that was more of a hope then fact nowadays. Walking across the long bridge that led to the tower the guard at the entrance lowered their weapons and then quickly bowed as they saw more clearly who was approaching. "Captain Commander Bushinji, Captain Setsune, what brings you here?"

Tenkai raised an eyebrow at that question and was slightly farfetched as to why he would be confused to their presence. Tenkai simply raised his arm up and pointed at the tower, being more then enough of an answer in his eyes. The guard, still seeming slightly confused, looked back and forth from Tenkai and back to the tower several times. The other guard that was on duty could visibly be seen shaking his head as he moved to open the door to the tower. "They are here to see the prisoners Seijuro. What else would they be here for." The guard that apparently went by the name Seijuro simply nodded lightly and lowered his head, clearly embarrassed by his own folly.

Rolling his eyes quickly Tenkai nodded at the shinigami that opened the door and made his way into the Senzaikyu. He glanced around looking at the various cells and the staircase leading both down and up. "Do either of you happen to know which cells Kenta Nejigama and Haley Kumasa are being held in?" The guards quickly looked at one another, back at Tenkai, and then nervously back down the bridge where Sansuka was standing. It looked as though they wanted to make a run for it but had no feasible way to escape. "Is there a problem that I should be aware of?" The two stiffened like boards before jumping on the ground in front of Tenkai, apologizing profusely.

"We're so sorry sir, but we do not know exactly where the two of them are inside. You see, it seems that they got out and are now wandering about the tower." Tenkai was speechless for the first time in, well, hundreds of years. Two of the prisoners had been allowed to, essentially escape, and wander about the tower. "I will deal with you two once I deal with them and whatever the hell else is going on in here. Pray I am in a better mood the next time we see one another." Turning about face Tenkai went about wandering about the prison attempting to find the two shinigami he had come for. He had originally wanted to give them a light sentence, but the fact that they had attempted escape changed his mind.

He would need to rethink what he was going to do regarding their punishment. That was, when he actually managed to find the two children. "Hunting for children, now I know what my father felt like..." It was at that moment a message rang across the entire prison, one that caused Tenkai to recoil in disbelief. Apparently a hollow had managed to not only find its way into the prison, but was now loose wandering about somewhere in the vast darkness of the towers layout.

He had to physically recollect himself to continue onward, attempting to find both of the prisoners, and now, a hollow. There was no way to accurately locate them either considering the sekkisekki dampened any spiritual creatures reiatsu and weakened them. The day was already bizarre enough, and now it had just taken a step into insane.

Haley would draw her blade slowly her spirit energy raging about furiously with the force of a tempest bring 3rd strongest from a captain she held power remarkable to most.her dar black spirit energy seemed to come to life as if posses snaking about on the ground , she would be causing light tremors throughout the compound once her blade was fully drawn her eyes would flicker a bright red like that of a deamon pearong at its prey from beyond the abyss, most beings showed fear at her current state because when her shikia was needed there would be no thrill no joy of battle there would be simply one thing......'death'.

Just as Haley's lips parted to speak her spirit energy would reach its peak at maximum output she would rake her sword across the ground causing small sparks to fly within the darkness that shrouded her "swallow all hope and light in the universe and plunge the world into choas Amatsu!" She declared as her blade took OK shikai form hidden inside her veil of darkness she would then jump foawrd and thrust he blade forward , Haley feared no beast or man she was a soul reaper before anything else a beam of condensed darkness would fly from her blade at the hollow with the intention of throwing him back and stunning him for a short time, if the attack missed she would switch to another technique and summon her shadow claws to attack it.

If the shadow beam struck she would land lightly on the bridge and slowly begin walking toward the disoriented creature, "are you ready to be plunged into darkness beast" she stated coldly as she walked.

Skills used

Yami no Yoroi (闇の鎧 | "Armor of Darkness"): this is when she is coated in a thick dark Aura that acts as armor dampening strong physical blows and offensive  riatsu and reishi based attacks and giving her a nice boost in physical strength

Kaosu no Haretsu (カオスの破裂 | "Rupture of Chaos"): her shadow morphs and branches off becoming shadow like hands spring forth from the 2nd dimension to become 3 dimensional tangible clawed hands capable of holding even relatively strong person in place and able to take a few hits before being knocked out when flying at said target, by reducing the number of hands she can increase the size of the hands or she can break down 1 hand to gain 5 mini hands the size of fingers that are just as capable as the Normal hands but are used for constriction.she can use this technique outside of shikia but it's limited to only 4 while in shikia she can produce 9.

Yami no Sutoraiki (闇のストライキ | "Strike of Darkness"):her zanpakto can fire a beam of darkness the size of the zanpakto's blade capable of piercing through said target in certain areas or temporarily stunning them by ensaring them in a thick cloak of darkness that blinds them for about 20-30 seconds,

Kenta's grim seemed to grow as he felt Haley cutting loose he himself would begin releasing power as well causing an isolated earthquake within the vicinity thanks to Haley's spirit energy he would also draw his blade but instead of going shikia he would condense it into his blade a simple technique even a novice could perform. Just as Haley fired he would let loose a torrent of raw unadulterated spirit energy.

The hollow during this time

The hollow was in mild surprise he expected them to run but they stayed and the female seemed to be powerful it excited the hollow in response he would let loose a loud powerful roar that could be heard all around but he was quickly silenced as he had to defend against the oncoming attacks he would quickly try and slash the torrent of spirit energy resulting in the destruction of his claw hand, he would then violently be thrown back into a wall by the beam of the young lady, he would let out a loud screech as he thrashed around the large platform blind screaming in frustration having his sight taken from him. "I'll decor you!! I'll make a sloppy mess of you!!" He roared the first actual intelligent thing he had said.

Tenkai slowly wandered the halls, making his way through the dark corridors in a thorough fashion. He was not sure where either of the children would be nor the hollow that was apparently running loose. Typically he would be able to simply feel out their reiatsu and locate them, however the sekkiseki rock was preventing him for locating anything anywhere. He could even feel it restricting his own powers to what would be considered a more, manageable, level. At least in this particular case the hollow would be weakened as well so even if the two prisoners happened upon it, if they were even together; they would be able to combat it. Still though, the challenge of locating them was the prime issue of the hour.

The tower was rather large and was composed of many floors and cells. To search through all of them by hand and eye alone would take hours. Even if he and Sansuka had split up it would be difficult for them to be located. The banter at least managed to pass the time, their words breaking the silence of the prison that they were within. However a singular joke by Sansuka caused Tenkai to stop dead in his tracks and turn, his eyes wide and slightly twitching. "I had not noticed, the irony was LOST on me. Keep it up and I may throw you in one of these cells as well..." It was certainly a tad excessive by his own standards, but the day had gone from decent to absolute crap in a matter of minutes.

The only truly accurate description that he could give to the day was what he happened to see around the bend of the hall they were currently in. "What fuckfest is this...?" He had managed to spot both Kenta and Haley, and not only were they with the hollow, they were fighting it. There was however at least one benefit to it, Sansuka's last question seemed to have answer itself. While it would have been smart for them to intervene and slay the beast and take possession of the prisoners, Tenkai found himself staying back and observing. He wanted to see what the two were capable of, how strong they were, under the circumstances. This was a prime opportunity for them to do so without even realizing it.

The worst that could happen was that one of them could die. Which, would be rather unusual with himself and Sansuka so close to the action. If they needed to they could step in and destroy the hollow with a single strike. But there was more benefit for them to simply stand back and watch, for both parties as it were.

Haley jumped back from the thrashing creature , she would crouch land next Kenta, "that was rather impressive vice captain- Nejigama" Haley stated as she stood the aura of darkness that shrouded her would fade away revealing herself a short scrauny girl who looked more dead then alive but she wasn't dead she was alive and had the will to fight. To most eyes they would see this as her loosing strength but in reality she was deactivating her shikias defensive technique to strengthen her attack. Suddenly her shadow began to branch off move , they sprung up from the earth and entangled the hollow and the dug themselves back into second dimension effectively binding the hollow. Haley would drop on all fours pumping as much spirit energy as she could into the shadow holding the hollow down but with all the thrashing it was seriously straining her reserves and when runs out of spirit energy its simple they die..

"You have 19 seconds that's how long I can hold ou-!!" She would stop talking as a sharp pain sprung into her mind one hand would clasp her head as light blood began to flow from her left nostril and right eye, her technique was made to combat hollows and people of atleast normal to above average size and height but this hollow was rather huge and strong.

She could no longer speak all she could do was focus on maintain the shadow hands in place till Kenta struck.

Kentas blade had small trails of smoke coming off of it he would quickly flick it causing the smoke to ceas its existence, "it seems it survived oh well then" he said eariely smiling like a fox he let his gaze wander as Haley was approaching the hollow he was seriously hoping she'd make the kill and what he layer his eyes upon just tickled his soul, not one but two captains just watching no doubt evaluating them he would keep his smile as his crimson eyes met theirs he'd wink and then fave back just in time to see Haley at his side, "that was rather impressive vice captain- Nejigama" he heard Haley say he would smile in her direction ,"why thank you Haley~san but I think I'll take it from here" he'd say Kenta had been holding back he was a vice captain in terms of power he wasn't that far off he would disaper in a burst of shunpo and reapear atop the hollow who was know surprisingly bound but he wasn't complaing just meant he wouldn't waste anymore spirit energy , the hollow let out a wild roar at the shinigami on his chest wriggling hard against his shadow bonds, "my , my , my you know its rude to yell?" Kenta joking said.

Vice captain nejigama rose his blade high with one hand focusing all his power into his muscles and with a mighty diagonal swing his blade would carve right through the hollows mask coating himself in crimson blood , he would lightly lick a drop that trickled down his cheek. As the hollows body began to disentergrate , the blood covered kentas hair and upper face his shoulders and entire upper front of his chest hlalong with those red eyes he looked like bonified murder. He would sheath his blade  and walk over to Haley "I'm sorry if I took to long are you OK Haley~san he would state cheerfully as if nothing happened. Kenta would have his closed lip smile as he faced back to were the two captains stood he would the wave his hand hailing them over.

The battle did not last much longer from when he and Sansuka had arrived. Though they certainly had a degree of struggle dealing with the beast, they managed to slay it. They both exhibited abilities that were of an above average quality, something that could definitely be built upon. This was to say however, if Tenkai gave them the chance to build upon them. He had been given the freedom to judge them as he saw fit. They were lower ranking officers and their crimes were not as severe as the rogue Captains. The Central Forty Six would see to them when the time came, but these two, their judgment was upon them. If he so desired he could draw his blade and lay them both to rest before they even understood that they were dead.

That was certainly a thought somewhere in the back of his head; a result of the mostly rage inducing day he had been put through already. But he was in control of his own mind and emotions, and he had no reason to desire such a harsh course of action. The two were following orders, a rather poor judgment call, but they had no reason to think otherwise. Hopefully they would observe this as a learning experience and understand how to approach such a situation in the future. One must observe their place among their superiors and subordinates, but also have a mind of their own. To balance the two was a rather difficult task, but a necessary one to be certain.

Moving forward towards the two, he had already decided upon how he would deal with their punishment. It was basic, and certainly a classic as far as punishment for a crime while in service. Tenkai loomed over the two, being a fair amount taller and larger then either of them, his arms crossed over his chest. He had the strange suspicion that with his hair having now changed colors to the stark white it was, his figure might have been slightly less imposing. His power at least spoke for itself though, which was unmatched by any shinigami in existence. This was particularly what he was aiming for at the moment, he wanted them to know that their future resided in his hands.

Clearing his throat loudly, he leaned in slightly speaking to both of the young shinigami before him. "Kenta Nejigama and Haley Kumasa, you were both charged with the crime of Dereliction of Duty. A serious crime to be certain, though not nearly as grim as the situation your superiors have found themselves in. They will be dealt with by Central Forty Six and myself at a later date." Pausing a moment, Tenkai closed his eyes and shook his head lightly as he composed his next sentence. "However, the punishment you two will receive has been given to me to dictate. As such I will read out your punishments to you right now. Kenta Nejigama, you will be reassigned to Squad Nine under Captain Setsune, you will also receive a demotion and be assigned to whatever seat he sees fit."

Clearing his throat once more, Tenkai turned his gaze to Haley, now preparing to read out the punishment she would receive. "Haley Kumasa, you will be reassigned to my own squad, Squad Thirteen and be under my direct command. I will assign you as the Ninth Seat of my squad, you are to report there immediately after seeking medical treatment. Now, I am sure neither of you are happy with these measures, but I assure you they could be a great deal worse. You are essentially getting off with a slap on the wrist, do not make it worse by complaining and agitating me." Turning around and moving back towards the end of the hall, Tenkai stopped next to Sansuka and glanced at him letting out a small breath as he did so.

"Would you care to say anything on the matter as well Captain Setsune?" He referred to Sansuka in his official capacity due to the manner of the situation they were in. It had been quite some time since he had referred to him as such, probably whenever he had agitated him last since he had become Captain Commander. It was fairly unusual, being what was essentially his boss, but things did not feel that much different. If a call needed to be made then he certainly made it and Sansuka had been more then accommodating to that point. There was a time to be professional, and a time to be personable, and they both knew where to draw the line. This was just another line in the sand as far as he was concerned.

Haley would stagger as her shikia resealed itself she would quickly use her sleeve and rub the blood away from her know once again tan skin , personally she wished she had been demoted to an unseated officer she'd have more freedom, despite being a little fatigued the second she heard 13th division she was gone in a burst of shunpo no need to hang around personally she cared little for what the rest of the speech was, she would always be like this and no one and nothing would change her , I will never bend or break my will and my life are my own

Kenta would smile happily at his demotion "how nice~" he would say cheerfully "but in honesty I'm happy with the unseated officer position" he'd laugh out before turning on heel and begin walking , he was beyond happy he was joyous as an unseated officer his actions were less than a fly swarming at their ass he had been given a gift in discuqize he had less authority but he was given greater freedom and less responsibility. "I'll be there in a moment my captain but first I must wash off this hollow blood less I get infected" he would say following Haley's example and shunpoing out to the showers

With a loud sigh all that had occurred was all Tenkai needed to, and wanted to, deal with for the day. He had a feeling that splendid times were ahead for him and his squad. His newest recruit was clearly young, rash, and headstrong. Tenkai was like that as well when he was younger, but also had guidance and discipline that molded him into who he was. His father had been a shinigami for over a thousand years, he did not put up with his antics as a child. He was going to have to play that role with Haley now, to a degree. He was certainly not going to father her, he already had enough children to take care of as it was that were actually his own. He was her superior and she, his subordinate; that was the lesson to be learned.

For now at least he had other things to attend to, away from here. Perhaps locating some hair dye would be something on his to do list in the future. If it looked as though he was visibly aging it may have softened his visage. The last thing he needed was for people to be thinking he was possibly 'on his way out'. Just another thing to add onto the list of his life, a rather long list as it was. "I am heading to my office Sansuka, would you kindly meet me there so we discuss more, private matters." Saying all he had needed to say Tenkai was gone as quickly as he had spoken. A simple gust of wind and the noise following was the only indication he had even left.
